A vision in the making since 1894 you will make a statement with the Yanagisawa AWO32 alto saxophone.
The upgraded replacement for the highly regarded A9932J Peter King model, this AWO32 silver/bronze model offers a beautiful blend of a sterling silver neck and bell, and a lacquered bronze body and bow. This combination gives a superb tone that balances the purity of silver with the tonal richness of bronze. As this is a specially commisioned model for the UK, Yanagisawa’s craftsmen have engraved the phrase “The World’s Finest” in Japanese inside the bell.
Made from newly engineered bronze and beautiful silver, the AWO32’s sound is both sophisticated and pure. And once combined with the impeccable mechanism, you will be able to feel the strong tonal core with flawless intonation. The fresh design of the AWO32 has resulted in new front F keys, right side keys, and right pinky keys – all for your convenience. And for an added touch of luxury, the bell features uniquely styled engraving which has been meticulously done by hand.
The AWO32 alto sax benefits from a newly designed, newly engineered and specially sourced bronze material for improved sound and sonority. When combined with the silver bell, AWO32 enters a league of its own. To link the bell and body together, Yanagisawa uses a balanced tri-point brace. The balanced brace ensure structural resilience and firm resonance, even during the loudest fortissimos. To help minimise any negative resonance, Yanagisawa has designed the thumb rest and hook to be mounted to the body by only four small points of contact. Plus, as the thumb rest is made of brass, it permits a more consistent tonal range.
