Paquito – for Flute and Guitar

Paquito pays homage to the brilliant composer/saxophonist/clarinetist Paquito D’Rivera. It is a fast salsa, based around a two-three clave pulse that comes in at about 3 minutes duration. This arrangement for Flute & Guitar was undertaken by James Girling, in conjunction with the composer. Paquito is perfect as an opening or closing piece for your programme, or as a fiery encore!
