Powell Sonaré Flutes combine a professional Handmade Powell Headjoint with an intermediate flute body. This combination offers the exceptional quality and sound of Powell Flutes at an affordable price.
All Powell Sonaré Flutes and Piccolos include headjoints that are handcrafted, hand cut, and hand finished at the Powell Workshop, as well as bodies that are handcrafted using the same technology used to produce our professional drawn tone hole flutes in gold and silver.
Sonaré PS905:
The new 905 model is the first Powell Sonaré flute to offer a professional mechanism, hand-finished at the Powell factory in Maynard, Massachusetts. This drawn tone hole flute has a Sterling Silver Body and Headjoint, and features an elegant Aurumite 9K crown, lip plate, and barrel. The Nickel Silver mechanism is silver-plated and is offered with French open holes, pointed arms, 10K White Gold springs, and Straubinger Phoenix Pads. Additional features include a B footjoint, offset G key and Split-E mechanism.
