Sonatine – for Flute and Piano

Whilst a renowned pianist the compositions of Walter Gieseking are litttle known. His compositions, inspired by Ravel and Debussy, are stylistically impressionistic and influenced from Jazz. Referred to as a “hidden treasure” Sonatine in E minor published in 1937 is melodic and in three movements. Approx 13 mins.
