Ballade and Divertissement – for Alto Saxophone and Piano

Ballade Et Divertissement  by Armando Ghidoni is a piece for Alto Saxophone and Piano. It can also be played by Tenor or Soprano Saxophone. Written for intermediate players “Élementaire 2”, this nice piece last 5’30 minutes and is dedicated to Guy Reverdi. Starting with an Adagio section (tempo = 60), the piece features a solo cadenza for the Saxophone which is followed by a Moderato part. Really melodious, this piece can be used for a contest, or in recitals. Armando Ghidoni is a French composer with Italian origins who plays Saxophone and Flute. He has been edited since 1989 by Alphonse Leduc.
