Selected Pieces – Flute and Piano

These four pieces have been arranged from Chaminade’s large number of character pieces for piano spanning just about her entire compositional career. Each demonstrates her abiity to paint a picture of a mood or a style using beautiful flowing melodic lines well crafted accompaniments and harmonies that can change the mood of the music in an instant. Ranging in standard from about grades 3 – 6 this volume is a great way to bring the music of this otherwise neglected composer back to the concert platform.
