Suite in B minor – Flute and Piano

J.S. Bach Suite in B Minor, arranged for flute and keyboard by Matyas Seiber. This suite in the second of a series of four Orchestral Suites which may have been written between 1718 and 1727 when Bach held the post of Kapellmeister at Coethen. The original manuscript score is lost but a manuscript set of parts uesd for performance in Leipzig is preserved. Of these, the flute, the 1st violin and the figured bass parts are written in Bach’s own hand.
